EAB Schacht Racing is happy to announce their plans for upcoming FIM World Supersport campaign. The Dutch Team signs Finnish rider Niki Tuuli for the 2024 season on a brand-new Ducati machine. It is a completely new set-up, but the focus is always to secure the best results as possible. The team and rider are motivated for a new challenge.
Niki Tuuli is from Finland, he is born on 26 oktober 1995 and is 27 years old. The Finnish rider is not a strange name in the motorsport. Niki has a lot of experience in the different championships. He started his career in the European Superstock 600 championship before he moved to the World Supersport class. He also rode in the Moto2 and MotoE championship. Niki achieved many podiums during the years on different machinery, championships, and teams. He is known as a good fighter and is a professional on and off track.
The EAB Schacht Racing squad will also switch from machinery. After a couple of years riding of the Yamaha YZF-R6 the team will switch to Ducati. It is not an unknow brand for the team. They rode with Bologna based brand back in the past in the European Stock 1000 championship. But in 2024 the team will start with the Ducati Panigale V2 model in the FIM World Supersport championship. It will be a new challenge, a different bike, other technology and a new rider. All this makes it already an interesting new season. As a team we cannot wait to get the new challenge started and make it work.
Kor Veldman: “I am happy that we signed Niki Tuuli for 2024. We have had contact with each other before in the past and it is nice to start the new season together. We are therefore very confident that we can show great things together in the new season. In 2024 we will no longer ride the trusted Yamaha YZF-R6 but a Ducati V2 Panigale. This will be a new challenge for both of us as a team and for Niki. The first parts have already arrived in the workshop, so from now we can build everything up for. the first test in December. I would like to thank everyone who helped making this possible and we are going in to 2024 with full confidence.”
Niki Tuuli: “First of all I want to say thanks to the EAB Racing Team for give me this opportunity. I also want to thank the people at my side who making this possible. This is a great change for me to show the real potential and I think as a Finnish rider I will fit well in the team. I follow the team for many years and the atmosphere is good. I am motivated and me and the team will work good together. First thing to do is prepare everything ready during the winter to start the year in best way. It certainly takes time to adapt to a new bike, but the complete package is there to fight for the top spots. I am ready to start to work with the team and I am super happy with this move. On to next year and many thanks to everybody involved.”
The EAB Schacht Racing Team and Niki Tuuli will have a few test days planned before the new season will kick off. This will be important as everything will be new for both sides. We work as hard as we can to get the best preparation as possible. On this way we can start the 2024 season on the right way.
EAB Racing Team begint nieuw avontuur met Niki Tuuli en Ducati in FIM World Supersport Championship 2024
EAB Schacht Racing is blij om hun plannen voor komend FIM World Supersport seizoen aan te kondigen. Het Nederlandse team heeft de Finse rijder Niki Tuuli gecontracteerd voor het 2024 seizoen. Ook zal het team overgaan naar een gloednieuwe Ducati-machine. Het is een compleet nieuwe opzet, maar de focus ligt altijd op het behalen van het best mogelijke resultaat. Het team en rijder zijn gemotiveerd voor een nieuwe uitdaging.
Niki Tuuli komt uit Finland, hij is geboren op 26 oktober 1995 en is 27 jaar oud. De Finse rijder is geen vreemde naam in de motorsport en heeft veel ervaring in de diverse kampioenschappen op gedaan. Hij begon zijn carrière in het Europese Superstock 600-kampioenschap voordat hij overstapte naar de World Supersport-klasse. Ook heeft hij meerdere seizoenen gereden in het Moto2- en MotoE kampioenschap. Niki heeft door de jaren heen vele podiumplaatsen behaald op verschillende machines, kampioenschappen en teams. Hij staat bekend als een goede vechter en is een professional op en naast de baan.
Het EAB Schacht Racing Team zal ook overstappen van merk. Na een paar jaar rijden op de Yamaha YZF-R6 motorfiets stapt het team over naar Ducati. Het is geen onbekend merk voor het team. Zo reden we in het verleden met het in Bologna gevestigde merk in het European Stock 1000-kampioenschap. Maar in 2024 zal het team met het Ducati Panigale V2-model starten in het FIM World Supersport kampioenschap. Het wordt een nieuwe uitdaging, een andere motor, andere technologie en een nieuwe rijder. Dit alles maakt het nu al een interessant nieuw seizoen. Als team kunnen we niet wachten om aan de nieuwe uitdaging te beginnen.
Kor Veldman: Ik ben blij dat we Niki Tuuli voor 2024 hebben kunnen contracteren. In het verleden hebben we al vaker contact met elkaar gehad en het is dan ook fijn om samen het nieuwe seizoen in te gaan. We hebben er dan ook veel vertrouwen in dat we samen mooie dingen kunnen laten zien in het nieuwe seizoen. In 2024 rijden we niet meer met de vertrouwde Yamaha R6 maar met een Ducati V2 Panigale. Dit geeft weer nieuwe uitdagingen voor zowel ons als team als voor Niki. De eerste motoren en onderdelen zijn reeds gearriveerd in de werkplaats zodat we alles kunnen opbouwen om onze eerste test in december te gaan maken. Ik wil graag iedereen bedanken die dit mede mogelijk hebben gemaakt en ga 2024 met het volste vertrouwen in.
Niki Tuuli: “Allereerst wil ik het EAB Racing Team bedanken voor het feit dat ze mij deze kans hebben gegeven. Ik wil ook de mensen aan mijn zijde bedanken die dit mogelijk hebben gemaakt. Dit is een geweldige verandering voor mij om het echte potentieel te laten zien. Ik denk dat ik als Finse coureur goed in het team zal passen. Ik volg het team al jaren en de sfeer is goed. Ik ben gemotiveerd en heb vertrouwen dat het team en ik goed kunnen samenwerken. Het eerste dat we moeten doen is alles klaarmaken gedurende wintertesten, zodat we het jaar goed kunnen beginnen. Het kost zeker tijd om je aan te passen aan een nieuwe motor, maar het complete pakket is aanwezig om voor de topposities te vechten. Ik ben klaar om met het team aan de slag te gaan en ben super blij met deze stap. Op naar volgend jaar en dank aan alle betrokkenen.”
Het EAB Schacht Racing Team en Niki Tuuli hebben nog een aantal testdagen gepland voordat het nieuwe seizoen van start gaat. Dit zullen belangrijke testdagen worden, omdat het voor beide partijen nieuws zal zijn. Wij werken zo hard mogelijk om de juiste voorbereiding te. Op deze manier kunnen we het seizoen 2024 op de juiste manier starten.
