Glenn van Straalen has crashed out of today’s WorldSSP race aboard his EAB Racing Team Yamaha YZF-R6. Glenn started from P11 after a promising Superpole session and was fighting for the top 10 again, before he crashed out half-way through the race in Turn 12. The best news after all is that Glenn is fine after his crash.

It was the first WorldSSP race of the weekend as tragic hit Jerez de la Frontera yesterday during the WorldSSP300 race. Following a serious incident during Race 1 of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship Dean Berta Viñales lost his life in a crash. The remaining on-track activity on Saturday was cancelled.
